This part is a servomotor for the Roland VersaCAMM digital printers models listed down. The motor serves as control of the printhead cross to the movement direction of the media. The printhead is moved by a gearwheel connected to the motor-axle and by a driving-belt. The Element should be changed every 2.000 operating hours. The motor, binned in a robust steel case, is connected via cable and plug to the board, called "Servo Board". This board recieves its control commands from the mainboard and transfers the signals to the servomotor.
